Poudre River-Medicine Bow

Wow Wow Wow! Hank and I went the scenic route up to Laramie, Wyoming through the Medicine Bow National Forest. We climbed up over 10,850' to the snowcap mountains and 52 degrees. Absolutely gorgeous, lush mountain meadows and stately peaks. The Aspen and pine forest with purple and yellow flowers sprinkled everywhere, wow! On the way back we went through the Roosevelt National Forest in the Colorado Rockies.
It is so hard to pick pictures with beauty everywhere. Buddy came along and played in the freezing water and rolled in the snow banks. We sat up our chairs in a picnic area because the road was blocked with snow. We hiked down to a couple of lakes until we saw Bear paw and claw marks. We saw Deer, Elk, Ground Hogs, Praire Dogs and chipmonks.
