A Golfer like Loretta

Last night when we came home from playing Games....the Golfer was at the front door. He didn't stay long to visit, as you can see, he has already moved on in the park to a new location.

We look forward to our yearly visit from Debbie and Doug. I am like a kid in the candy store.

We relax and laugh alot. What a great medicine for all that ails us! Enjoy Vegas and good luck at the races.

Saturday, we headed down to watch the parachuters. We watched 10-14 planes drop 20-30 people per plane.

Debbie hair seems to attract things, because a jumper just missed her head coming in for a landing....we heard a big swish right before he hit ground. lol.

Desert-Sonora Museum, Tucson

Last weekend Debbie and Doug arrived parking next to us!

We had a great time. We played pickleball, a little volleyball, a new card game and ate alot of food. We walked the doggies everywhere. But, we had a great experience in the desert. We saw rattlesnakes, scorpions and black widows.

We were able to watch a family of falcons fly over us and physically touched Debbies' hair when they came in to land, wow!

Yesterday was girls day out and we went to a cactus nursery. It had so many roosters, chickens and hens you could hardly walk. You really had to watch where you walked. They do sell the eggs, btw but had a waiting list. The reasons for the chickens: they eat the bugs. I think she said it was a total of 150 acres! My 3 friends all bought cacti except me, cause I probably would just kill it!

Anyway, we ate at Harrow cafe after our excursion. We had a great time.

Buddy was a good boy

Buddy was such a good boy lately, that Mommy took him to Petsmart to pick out his own toy. He smelled each bin until he found the perfect toy. He hasn't let it go yet! He carries it even to go potty. (lol).

Palm Creek

I know I haven't posted lately, we have been so busy playing. So, I took a couple of pictures yesterday. The top picture is of the 5th wheel across the way, notice the owl that has decided to make his home underneath there.

Last night was girls night! We play with different girls every Thursday and different games. What a fun night for Lillie....I love game night.

Marlene's Big Birthday Celebration!

We went to Robeson Grille last night to enjoy celebrating Marlene's BD. We had a great dinner and enjoyed always being with great friends.

New Tile

Hank and I had tile installed yesterday in the living room of the coach, it looks great!

Casa Grande-Palm Creek

Hank and I have been in Arizona for 2 wks. now and I haven't posted very much. We have been extremely busy. We wake up around 4am. and walk the park., return home, have coffee and sit outside for a short time watching the amazing clear skies and bright stars. Then we go play pickleball or Hank has been playing golf. All this is around 6am. When we have finished, I usually go play water volleyball.

Then it is lunch time, followed by an afternoon nap. By this time, it is over 100 degrees and way too hot to do anything outside. Poor Buddy runs out and pees....then runs back in, lol.

All the 'older adults' have dinner around 4pm...or evening cocktails. The sun starts to set and the evening cools off and the Games begin.

This is our daily routine at the moment until the weather starts to cool off, you know, like the 90's. We have broken all records and our a/c are keeping up, barely. We miss you all! Remember we have an open invitation for family to come and visit.
