Missing some people on Christmas

My grandchildren were able to visit with my Mom and make her a nice warm blanket for Christmas!!

Jason and his family live in Colorado.
His kids are growing like weeds. He looks just like his Dad, John.

Christmas Day!!

The table is just starting to fill up with Food. The tables all decorated and the fun begins.

The Chinese gift exchange took forever, but we laughed and laughed. Sally's homemade pottery bowl was exchanged to everyone!!

Christmas Eve at Zella and Harriett's

Every year we attend a really big street party. It

takes about 2 hours to fill all the bags with sand, and candle, line the whole street and connecting street, then light them. But we have a great time!!

Dumpster Diving

Whoever thought they would see Hank in a dumpster???? Times are really tough, .

Lillie makes all sorts of jewelry with Debbie's beads!

The Bodacious Beading meet every Wednesday to work on our projects.

All the girls are working on different things for making themselves look beautiful, lol.

Since I don't wear much jewelry, my friends and family get my beginner gifts.

Enjoy!

Natalie has a Christmas Party

Sometimes the Park Models just aren't big enough to have inside so, we sit out on the street. Everyone had a wonderful time. We even saw a road runner with its tail sticking up behind the outside light. Big entertainment for us!

Amazing how much food with had!! Smoked ham, deep fried Turkey, oven roasted turkey, (Kathy's sweet potatoes with pecans), salad, desserts galore, dressings, stuffings, mashed potatoes, green beans ...the list goes on and on.

It is funny how the guys all stood around near the food, waiting to hear "time to eat".

What is a potato Party? Everyone brings the toppings to go on a big potato. There were also sweet potato's with brown sugar etc...

This was a very cool night for us, but turn on the heaters, pour a good wine and you never knew it was cold.

Lillie taking classes!

I am having a great time taking beading classes with the girls.

I have made some beautiful bracelets and looking forward to using all the beads Debbie gave me!!

Party at Tom and Elaine's

Great get together! Tom caught a tremendous amount of fish up in Washington state this past summer and we all enjoyed the variety of fish and the fixings to go with them. Thanks Tom and Elaine.

Grand Canyon

Flagstaff is just beautiful. The leaves are changing color and the leaves are falling on the ground. The days are beautiful, but the evening is cold.

Today we went to the Grand Canyon and had a wonderful trip. Walking the rim was beautiful. Then we ended the evening with watching the I-max movie about the Canyon.
We had a wonderful trip. Tomorrow we head for Las Vegas.

Side trip to Sedona, Az.

What a different way to see Sedona! The day started off cool, but warmed up rapidly. We had a great guide-Cher. She gave us much freedom to hang back, take pictures etc... There were only 3 couples. We had over 3 hours riding through the dusty desert. We were like a bunch of teenagers, doing wheelies.

There was one time we saw a snake and were taught to put it in the middle of your wheels so it won't strike your legs. Hank did just that. Debbie and Doug, who were behind us never even saw the snake, lol. Today we are going to the Grand Canyons.

Great dinner at Ben's

We had a great evening with Ben and his family enjoying their beautiful home and great Tex-Mex food. Thank you!

Meeting Wally in the bedroom

I actually got to meet Wally who was hiding in the bedroom. Karen won him in Denver at the Bandimer race track. Very Cool.

A fun weekend ahead with "Karen Stoffer" team!

Debbie and Doug arrived for their first and probably only motorcycle race in Phoenix at the Firebird track. As always, we have had a great time so far. Yesterday we went to the gun range to shoot an AR-15, 12 gauge, pistols, 22's and some heavy duty stuff. It was really exciting! We had a great time.

Saying Farewell to Buddy

I haven't written on the blog in awhile, due to my sadness of loosing Buddy. It was very hard saying good-bye to a truly wonderful friend. He and I went through great trials and blessing together for almost 13 years. Good-bye friend-I miss you so much.

Home at Palm Creek

Second night home and we had a wonderful dinner with friends who also just returned from summer adventures.
Then Hank and I started working on our storage shed, which is more like a Cassita or mini kitchen. Very cute huh?

Saying farewells to friends until Palm Creek

Of course while in Hot Springs, we stopped and visited our friends and next door neighbors Jim and Jaylene. This is their home for the summer. It was a short visit because we leave this morning, but we enjoyed hearing and sharing summer adventures.

See you soon in P. C.
