Jupiter

Today Hank and I drove down to Jupiter. Katherine recommended we go to Blowing Rock, which we did! The tide was just coming in so the water blowing through the rocks was growing slowly while we watched.

We then drove over to the Lighthouse on the inlet. This restored 1860 lighthouse with 105 steps gave a beautiful view of West Palm Beach and Jupiter. The barracks were still there used in WWII for officiers.

Finally, we enjoyed a fantastic lunch at the Food Shack! Yum Yum. Another nice day in south Florida.

Good Morning

I thought this was a great picture in the morning! A view of the water, the golf course, the balloon in the air and of course, our RV.

Manatee

Today Hank and I went down to Ft. Pierce to see if the Manatee were still hanging around in the warm water. We found one and I hope you can see it. The are so gentle!
Poor little guy, over 1,000lb. had prop scars all on his back.

Fort Pierce, Florida

Hank and I drove over to Fort Pierce so we could walk along the beach. The water was very cold. Then we went out to dinner and home. Nice evening!

Port St. Lucie

Here we are at a beautiful Outdoor Resorts! We pulled in facing the golf course and a beautiful waterfall. It is in the new section and only $169,000. I don't think so!
The weather is gorgeous and we get a really nice breeze from the Ocean. Speaking of which, Hank wants to drive over there...bye

Epcot, Disneyland,Orlando

Well, here we are again, playing like two little kids! We walked the complete Epcot Center and rode plenty of rides. My favorite was Soarin! This was an exhilarating rush of free-flying hang gliding with your feet dangling. Pretty cool!Anyway, we had a good time and today we head south to Port St.Lucie.

Hank and I both got tired of cold, rain, sleet and snow so, we headed south. Our first stop was Macon, now here we are in Orlando on our way to Port St. Lucie. The child in us came out-so we are going to Epcot today @ $71.00 a ticket (phew) we better have some fun, right?? I will take a few pictures later on. Have a good Sunday, God Bless you all!

P.S. I am not going to MGM or Universal, saving this for Grandchildren time!

What is this?

Here it is April 14th! Hank and I were in the basement and heard some pounding. We looked outside and what did we see? Hail, sleet and then snow!! Good Grief Charlie Brown!!

Momma Ann's BD

Hank and I went over to Momma Ann's for her BD, so did gizmo! We had krystal hamburgers & fries. Yum Yum. She opened her special present from Best Buy and had a cup cake. Happy Birthday!

Katherine's visit this weekend

What a nice weekend I had with Katherine. Friday, we went to our favorite book store, McKays. Even with all the rain we had all day, we enjoyed it! Then we came home, had dinner, watched a chick-flick, read and played Hand and foot with Hank.
Saturday was a busy day of shopping. She and I both bought new suits and she helped mom buy a few new blouses. Later, it was a pedicure for both at Walmart.
Sunday, we went to Church together, then worried about Rebecca not feeling very well the rest of the day. She ended up at the hospital with pain in her chest.
Monday, we drove Katherine down to Atlanta so she could go back to work. But we decided to make a detour to Bobby's house bring Chick-filets for lunch. We had such a great time with her. Then we drove Katherine over to the hotel and said our farewells. I am already missing her, we had a great weekend. Now, I am looking forward to going out west to see Rebecca, Jim and kids.

NewComers' bookclub

Newcomer's is such a great club. When I moved to Chattanooga I didn't know one person. They instantly became my friends. There was bridge, Mah Jongg (which I learned to play in Arizona) Coffee's, luncheons, field-trips, and many parties.
This was a book club pot lunch. Great Food! Great discussion over the book, "Same Kind of Different Like Me by Ron Hall. I think this is a great book to read."
