Good Morning! A couple of exciting things have happened since arriving. "Oh Mrs. Corbitt, we have a great new site that will easily handle a 42' motorhome." So, we drive over and start making our turn on brand new layed graveled spot and then all of a sudden my side of the RV drops down into mud (above the steps that slide out). The dirt hadn't settled and the intense rain from those storms had just filled in the empty spaces. Amazingly, Hank put down the tag axle, and the weight of the engine in the back, was able to back up. PRAISE THE LORD.
Later that night, we went over to our friends house, Peggy and Jims' to see their beautiful home on Ocean Isle Beach. They are right on the Intercoastal waterway. What a great house! It use to be a Bed and Breakfast, but now Peggy and Jim are planning to go fulltiming in their RV starting August 1. Hank and I are very excited about that!
Yesterday, Hank and I went out to Sunset Beach. The picture above is of one of the last few swing bridges in US. We watched as a ship come through and the whole bridge swung out to the side, view tower and all. It is the only way to get out to the island, one lane. Weather was great and so was our day.
