Cape Hatteras, Lighthouse

Today we climbed the tallest lighthouse in the U.S. 208' tall, 286 steps. This is very interesting, in 1999 they moved this lighthouse 1/2 mile up the road because the pounding of the waves was destroying it. It was on tv a few months back. Hank and I watched it. It took 23 days to move it up the road.

Tomorrow we head to Virginia Beach, we are getting closer to Katherines' house. It has been very chilly and windy here, enough where we have had the windows open day and night.
