Sunday Morning we got up really early to go to Sunday School and Church. Then I prepared lunch...afterwards a walk through the park and fly a kite. The wind was perfect!
Then we watched a movie and played Wii.
Time to drive back to Atlanta and maybe a McDonalds on the way.

A Day with Grandchildren
Today started early with a T-ball game for Aiden at 9am. Then we went to a park by the Tennessee River for a picnic and play time on a hill. After that we went on a train ride over the River, through the woods. To finish off the evening (or to finish off Hank) we went to McKay Book store for videos then Imagination Station to play on the swings and a walk around the Park.
They have finally taken baths and are watching a movie (quiet time).

A Day in Atlanta
Saturday I drove to Atlanta and picked up Katherine. We went to visit my Mom for a little while, then drove over to the Chattahoochee Nature Center to meet up with Rebecca and grandchildren. We had a lovely picnic by the river, played on the swings, threw a ball around, then took a long hike.
After a 2 mile hike, we decided to go to see the animals at the Nature Center. We saw an Eagle, Hawks, several different Owls, a Beaver, turtles, snakes, a possum,
and walked some more!
We had a great afternoon.!

Noland and Aiden Visit
Hank and I haven't been this worn out in along time. Our day started early, with meeting Tracy for breakfast at Crackerbarrel with the kids. Aiden ordered pancakes and fried okra. What a breakfast of champions!
Next it was off to Walmart to buy some toys since Grammie's house doesn't have anything in it. Thank goodness we were reminded at Aunt Becky's about 4-squares, because we played that atleast until 8:30 pm.
Of course Wii is still a big hit but Grammie needs some new ones!
Brother Dean (from NY) came into town today too, it was like a "Corbitt" renunion.
Grandda(Hank), Davy (son), Dean (uncle), Aiden and Nolan (grandchildren) all playing 4-squares.
Hank cooked us hamburger and hotdogs on the grille. It is funny living in the basement with a perfectly good house upstairs.
Anyway great day Guys!

Easter in Atlanta
First thing I realized after being away from my family so long is how large we are growing in numbers. There were 3 baby girls born in the last 6 months. There were nieces and nephews I hadn't met yet! There was so much going on at Aunt Beckys' you can't imagine. 4-squares (which I played), badminten, bridge, campfire, Easter egg hunt, and eating everytime you turned around.(in the picture the men are in line to eat)
My Mom and her sister, Sarah (both in their 90's) we there enjoying so many kids!
We also celebrated Ansley's BD, (my granddaughter) who turned 8 on April Fools!
Thank you Loyd's for a great way to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord.

McKinney, Texas MCD
Yesterday we decided to take a different route and go I-30, it just happens to be really close to McKinney, Texas. We dropped by to see Jim & Peg and guess who else was here? Dave & Marie, so we were talked into staying overnight. We went to dinner at a great Pub-the food was really good. After dinner, the 4 of us played P & Jokers.
I am beginning to get a complex..the big L on my forehead.
After seeing all the cool electric shades, Hank and I really want to do them but can't find the time this trip so....we will just have to come back for another visit Peg & Jim. Thanks for spending the time with us, see you again.

The End of the Year Volleyball Season
Last night we had our Volleyball dinner. The food was awesome! For the Winter Season, Lillie's team the Volley Vipers came in first with over 49 wins, 11 losses, with an awesome coach.(l0l)
The Fall Season, my new team, Over the Top... pulled out the win in the last 2 weeks, with 43 wins-winning by only 4 games. It has to be the FOL that pushed my players in that last game when we were 7 down. What is FOL (Fear of Lillie)! Until next year my friends...I will miss you. You have all been such an encouragment and patient with me during my healing, and very supported while I pushed you..."Call the Ball" "Stay near the net" "keep the ball in play" "Stay in your area"!
Until next year!

The Dessert Museum
Wow...the rain really increased the beauty of the dessert. All the cacti were blooming and flowers, the birds were plentiful, the bees were carrying pollen.
I even got close enough to a couple of day old hummingbirds (hope you can see, double click top right picture). Can you see Momma feeding babies? Plus the dessert animals!
Just enjoy spring with me by viewing the pictures and thanking God for what he has created for us to enjoy.

Seeing ole friends again.
After 3 years, we finally were able to hook up with my good friends Georgann and Lamont. We first met them at "Camp Monaco" in 2007. We have talked over the years, tried to hook up but finally the last couple of days we have been able to visit. We even took a side trip to Tucson to see the Dessert Museum. I really enjoyed our time together and look forward to our next reunion.

A Beautiful walk through the park.
Hank and I have been doing daily walks through the park, this was such a beautiful view, I thought I would share.
The cactus are in bloom, the flowers are gorgeous and it is in the 80's. Wow.
God is great in his creations, isn't he?

Harrah's casino and dairy farm
Hank and I drove to Maracopa to see what people were talking about this little town.
Establish 2000, in the middle of the desert, all we could find was a casino. So, we dropped by to check it out. They gave us $15 each for slots, and 2 buffet dinners ($19 ea.)
After a short time at the slots, and each of us winning, we walked away $80 richer and the dinner. Wow! We didn't even spend any of our money.
Wonderful drive and we did see a huge dairy farm, with cows as far as you could see, in the desert!

Time Out
Sometimes one of our players, needs to sit in Time out when they get a little excited. This was one of the times...Lee had to put on a St. Patty's hat and relax a minute.

Regional/Division NJCAA Championship
Last night we went with about 10 of our friends to the Championship playoffs. These women from Central Arizona College haven't lost a game in 2 years. Last night was no exception. They won! Now they go to Kansas for the Nationals! We had a great time with friends (who have gone all year) we just saw the last game. It was exciting with great defense on both team and the lowest score all year. One young lady shot atleast 6 3-pointers.

Lawn Bowling
My husband has really been going out of comfort zone. Today, he went with 2 friends, (Canadians) Bonnie and Gibson to learn how to play Lawn Bowling. This is very popular in our park with the Canadians.
These is the one where they wear total whites when they play! Today was just for learning. I also rolled a few and listened in, but I can't find time in my day to play something else!
