New Yak Airplane

Hank bought this airplane yesterday at a RC fly-in. He has already put it together and it is ready to fly today. Except the weather wasn't calm enough for him, maybe Monday!.

Doug and Mona!

I walked over to the baseball field to watch our friends, Doug and Mona help with the hot air balloon. If you volunteered, you got to ride in it! Well, there they are waving at us!

Quilt is Finished.

Hank and I finally finished the quilt he started over a year ago. While I was working on the final touches, Hank went to the workshop and made new tables to put on each side of the bed. Pretty Cool, huh?

RC Fly-In

Yesterday, Hank went with a couple of Buddies over to Apache Junction. There was an RC fly-in!

Planes everywhere, vendors everywhere, OH NO, another hobby. Dale and Joe came home with little bags. Hank came home with another airplane. They had a great time!

Bob and the RV

Hank is finally finished building his RV, the Pilot arrived yesterday. His name is Bob, named after Bob Rea.

Hank went out to fly Bob today, but the wind picked up, so he changed his mind. Bob will just have to wait!

Ladies Saturday Water Volleyball is Growing

I had 22 women show up to have fun! I have never laughed so hard. We are having such a great time, I might have to add another day to play.

Ladies Water Volleyball

Here is a picture of some of the ladies coming to play water volleyball on Saturdays. I have started a Ladies day, most are beginners. The first day, I had 20. Tomorrow I expect a lot more because we had a Welcome Home day at the park for new people to learn about the activities in the Park. I had 30 ladies pick up all the flyers I had made. Hmmm...do you think I will have more to teach?

I have never laugh so hard in my life and I sure can use laughter in my life right now.

Edie becomes a citizen of the United States

Our friend Edie, finally became a US citizen. We had a surprise party for her and she was very surprised. She was from Austria and has been in our country since she was 3. How wonderful to be a citizen and get to vote, she said. This is a mock Judge, in case you couldn't tell.

Another New Plane

Hank is like a little boy with a new toy. He woke up really early the other day to put together his new plane. It is an RV like the real plane he never got to finish. This one is almost done and should be flying by next week. It is beautiful!

Going Down Memory Lane

A couple of days ago, one of my friends asked me if I could help his daughter with some shooting problems. For the last 2 days, Jody and I having going over her shooting stance, staying ahead of the birds, dominant eye, lifting her head etc... I have had such a great time. She is a awesome person! She is from Canada and even brought her hunting dogs with her, a lab. btw. Smart dogs.

Next year, I am going to brings my shot gun with me, it felt great to hold a gun again!!

Happy New Year! Happy Anniversary!

Tonight we went to Rod and Jeans' house to celebrate a New Year. We also celebrated Marlene and Bobs' anniversary. We played fast track with 2 tables of four: Rod, Lillie, Marlene and Bob, and at table 2: Dennis, Linda, Hank and Jean. Hank and Lillie were the Big winners of the night.

Jean had tons of food, great desert, and great company. Thanks guys and HAPPY NEW YEAR.
