Hank and I have been very busy remodeling the coach and the house. We have installed a 50 amp. just in case we have a few RV visitors. We also now have a guest room with a bed.
We have a few small trips starting this month and a few unusual activities. I am sure I will carry my camera along for pictures.
Stay tuned...maybe life won't be so boring after all this winter.

What in the world is this??
Yes, it is snowing and Buddy is having a great time. He loves the snow. He keeps scratching on the door to go out and play. His hair is really long and he looks like a bear!

Basketball game with grandchildren
Hank and I watched Nolan (in the background) play basketball. They won 18-6. Aiden just sat on our laps drinking his juice or eating crackers. We had a nice time with all Marnie's family and seeing the kids.

Mom is sassy as ever!
As most of you know, Hank and I left Casa Grande in a big hurry. My Mom was very ill and my sisters said she was going down hill fast. When I arrived, she wasn't eating or drinking. I walked in and told her, I didn't drive all this way for a funeral. So, I curled her hair, put make up on her, got her dressed ordered lunch and got her in a wheelchair. This was New Year's Day! We ate turnips, black eyed peas, cornbread, sweet tea and chicken. Ya'll know us Southerners. She did really well. Then we went and saw a magic show. Afterwards, she drank 1 1/2 glass of wine!!(basically I got my Mom tipsy).
She is doing remarkably well and going to make it to another birthday, we hope! She is in her 90's. Looks pretty good, huh?
Thank you ALL so much for your concern, and your prayers. I miss you all and hope to be on the road again soon.
Love, Lillie

The passing of a good friend
Spanky, my cat died today. He would have been 12 years old this month. He was such a great cat and I will always have funny memmories of Gizzmo chasing him, and he would just hop on the dash of the RV. Another funny, when Buddy was a puppy, he used to grab Spanky by the ear and drag him around on the hardwood floors. Such a great cat!! The grandchildren remember Spanky when they would throw balls and he would retrieve them. The kids would do this forever, throwing balls down the steps, he would get them and bring them back.
My mom is improving daily, she is finally eating and drinking. She is as hardheaded as I am! I am glad I am home and it was my cat that departed and not my MOM.
